Beef and Broccoli Ramen

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb beef (such as flank steak), thinly sliced
  2. 2 cups broccoli florets
  3. 2 packs ramen noodles (or udon/rice noodles)
  4. 3 cloves garlic, minced
  5. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  6. 1/4 cup soy sauce
  7. 2 tablespoons honey
  8. 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  9. 1 tablespoon avocado oil (substituted for vegetable oil)
  10. 1/4 cup water
  11. Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
  12. Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the sauce.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the pan and cook until browned.
  4. Add broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli, and add water. Stir to combine.
  6. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
  7. Meanwhile, cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  8. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss everything together.
  9. Drizzle with sesame oil and mix well.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

Tips

  1. For extra flavor, marinate the beef in a bit of soy sauce and ginger before cooking.
