Cheesy Hamburger Helper
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp each of salt and pepper
- 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp each of paprika, oregano, onion powder
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 1/2 cups pasta
- 3 cups of beef broth
- 8 oz can of tomato sauce
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup of milk
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown 1 lb of ground beef with chopped onion.
- Season with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Drain any extra grease from the meat.
- Add the minced garlic, uncooked pasta, beef broth, and the can of tomato sauce to the skillet.
- Bring to a quick boil and turn heat down to low.
- Cover with a lid and cook for about 10-15 minutes, stirring once or twice to keep the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the skillet.
- Once the pasta is cooked, add the shredded cheese and milk.
- Stir everything together well and serve!
