Crockpot Chicken and Ravioli

Ingredients

  1. Salt
  2. Pepper
  3. Onion powder
  4. Garlic powder
  5. Italian seasoning
  6. 1.5 pounds chicken breasts
  7. 1/2 jar sun-dried tomatoes (optional)
  8. Crushed red pepper flakes
  9. 24-ounce jar marinara sauce
  10. 1 pint heavy cream
  11. 25-ounce bag frozen cheese ravioli
  12. 1 bag frozen spinach

Directions

  1. Season the bottom of the crockpot with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Place the chicken breasts on top of the seasonings.
  3. Season the top of the chicken with more salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Add half a jar of sun-dried tomatoes (optional).
  5. Sprinkle in some crushed red pepper flakes.
  6. Pour in the marinara sauce.
  7. Add the heavy cream.
  8. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
  9. Once the chicken is done, remove it, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
  10. Stir in the frozen ravioli and frozen spinach.
  11. Cover and cook on high for another 30-45 minutes until the ravioli is heated through.

Tips

  1. Don’t skip the sun-dried tomatoes for added flavor.
  2. You can substitute the spinach with broccoli or any other vegetable you prefer.
  3. Serve over pasta if desired.
