Whipped Feta Crostini with Hot Honey
Ingredients
For the Whipped Feta:
- 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Crostini:
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For Topping the Crostinis:
- Hot honey for drizzling
- Chopped pistachios
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.
- In a food processor, blend feta, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed. Chill until ready to use.
- To assemble, spread a spoonful of whipped feta onto each crostini. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with chopped pistachios. Serve immediately.
