Whipped Feta Crostini with Hot Honey

Ingredients

For the Whipped Feta:

  1. 4 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  2. 2 oz cream cheese, softened
  3. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  4. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  5. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Crostini:

  1. 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  2. 2 tablespoons olive oil

For Topping the Crostinis:

  1. Hot honey for drizzling
  2. Chopped pistachios

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp. Let cool slightly.
  2. In a food processor, blend feta, cream cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, and black pepper until smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed. Chill until ready to use.
  3. To assemble, spread a spoonful of whipped feta onto each crostini. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with chopped pistachios. Serve immediately.
